Progress Photos

Progress pictures from misc. times in my journey:

December 2008/January 2009, end of senior year of college and first year of graduate school.  I am seriously sucking in my stomach here because I remember taking the picture—the goal was to show how long my hair was—so although I look thinner, I’m not.  260+ pounds

After my first 5K of 2011—ESPN The Weekend.  Hanging out at Disney after an awesome run!  Did this the year before and it was the first 5K ever for me, so to run it again—and faster—felt super amazing.  March 2011.

After my first 10K! Definitely felt a big rush running that sucker!  March 2011

June 2011 — between 232 and 230 pounds.  Love this picture! My shirt can finally close over my stomach and chest.

Comparison photos:

Wore this dress back in August 2008 at my brother’s college graduation.  It doesn’t look different in these photos because of the jacket I have on, but my neck, chin, legs, and arms look a bit different.  And I know it fit better on me than last time when I could barely fit into it.

When I started this weight loss journey, my Do Life t-shirt was the only one I would work out in.  Now, I have plenty of other shirts.  The shirt, an XXL, is definitely too large for me now!

This shirt shows my progress the best I think.  January at 245, March at 235, and June at 230.  When I first bought the shirt I bought it as something I’d “lose weight for” and now I have lost enough weight so I can wear it comfortably.  Definitely excited to see how this shirt looks after another 30 pounds!

Just looking at this picture makes me realize how far I’ve come from my highest weight to now.  October 2011.

Got this jacket in January 2011 and told myself that I’d shrink into it.  10 months and nearly 30 pounds later, I think I’ve managed that pretty nicely.
